Daisy's Hangout

Daisy is the newest member of the household. She was adopted from Precious Paws Rescue at about one year of age. At first she was quite frightened and reclusive but has adjusted very well and now is a happy camper.

It seems that the happier she got, the more curious she got, examining every square inch of her new abode - as can be seen by these pictures:

Berkeley, California adopted an ordinance a few years ago that stated that pet owners were officially no longer pet owners but pet owner/guardians. It went on to say that animals are not our property; we are not their owners and it was hoped that the new language would gradually change people's perceptions. The word 'guardian' really does redefine the relationship between humans and pets; it implies stewardship and caretaking. In light of this new way of thinking, Daisy now has a guardian, not an owner.

Daisy recently had a rather harrowing experience. You can read here about her grand adventure.

(Please pardon the background noise coming from the TV. Next video will have pretty "cat music" playing)

Daisy is using this wall of her hangout to put pictures of her cyber-friends.
